Acupuncture
Acupuncture employs single-use, sterile needles in points along specific meridians, which are selected to elicit a healing response, balance the nervous systems, and energize the body- it’s pretty amazing, actually! For internal medicine conditions, Chinese individualized herbs and supplements are prescribed to promote healing and optimal health.
Becoming a Patient
First Visit: Our signature consultation, complete with a comprehensive medical history, herb, supplement & nutrition review, and treatment plan. We will spend time discussing your health in great detail, deciphering together the root of the condition that ails you and coming up with a strategy to bring your body back to a state of optimal health. Please feel free to upload any prior labs, cycle notes, or other relevant medical tests into your patient account. By the end of this appointment, you’ll feel clearer about your health and empowered with a holistic plan to achieve your goals.
Existing Patient Acupuncture
Once you have completed your First Visit consultation and treatment you will be able to schedule acupuncture appointments as an existing patient through our online portal, or by texting or calling the front desk at 310-598-5209. Please do not email with scheduling requests.
Insurance Superbills
Mother Nurture Wellness is not contracted with any insurance companies and does not directly submit claims. We will happily provide you with a superbill to submit for reimbursement. We accept all traditional forms of payment as well as ACH, Venmo, and HSA cards. *please note that a 3.95% fee is added to credit card transactions.
Pricing
Acupuncture, First Visit (90 minutes) $325
This appointment will consist of a full, detailed medical intake and evaluation, including a nutrition and lifestyle assessment with recommendations, and an evaluation of your current herb and supplement regimen with recommendations.
Follow-up acupuncture visits: $160 (discounted package rates are available) Brief intake, acupuncture treatment (60-minutes)
Acupuncture for embryo transfer: $625 ($725 for 2 same-day in-home visits- limited availability) Acupuncture treatments before and after embryo transfer at your fertility clinic or at home
Concierge Services
We offer in-home concierge appointments if you prefer to receive treatment in your home. Before your first appointment, we will meet virtually so that we can figure out how to support you best, and to make sure we bring the right herbs and supplements with us to your visit.

In Home-Embryo Transfer Acupuncture
With the ongoing pandemic, many fertility clinics are not allowing on-site, day-of-transfer acupuncture. In order to accommodate our patients who wish to follow the data-driven protocol of acupuncture both before and after embryo transfer, we are happy to provide home visits.
