In order to ensure the health and safety for all, MNW is rigorously adhering to CDC guidelines for preventing the spread of Covid-19. Please take a moment to review our office policies and in-office safety protocols:
You’ll receive an email asking you to confirm that you don’t have any risk factors for Covid-19 (or any other illness) the day before your appointment. Responding to this email is mandatory and will confirm your appointment. If you feel unwell, the 24 hour cancellation policy will be waived.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows for your legs, arms and abdomen to be exposed. Blankets are no longer in use, only medical-grade linens.
Appointments times are staggered so that no one is ever waiting. Until further notice, the lobby and front desk areas are closed and porous furnishings are covered.
Time for full sanitizing of treatment rooms in between appointments is built into the schedule, making your arrival time extremely important. Late arrivals may be asked to wait in their car or in the atrium. In order to ensure the safety of everyone entering and exiting the office, we reserve the right to treat late arrivals (more than 10 minutes) as “no show” appointments, which are charged in full. Thank you for your understanding.
Patients will be greeted at the door by me and taken immediately to a treatment room (after a contactless temperature check and some hand sanitizer).
Masks will be required in the office at all times but may be removed while the needles are in (I will help with this). You’ll also always be seeing me from behind a mask and shield or goggles, and in scrubs and shoes that I’ll change into at the office. If you don’t have a mask, I will give you one for $2.00.
All payments will be made through cards on file or via Venmo, and all transactions will occur in the treatment room as the front desk is currently closed.
Herbs and supplements will be delivered by me to your room at the end of treatment. Rescheduling will occur at that time, online or over the phone.
All new patient initial consultations will take place virtually to limit face-to-face time in the office. An acupuncture visit is included in the first visit fee and will be scheduled once the virtual session is completed.
Rooms will be throughly cleaned and aired out between appointments. Air purifiers will be utilized in each room. The entire suite is cleaned nightly and deep cleaned weekly.
You will be provided with a waiver to sign prior to your first in-office appointment. This waiver must be returned by the time of your visit. If you need a hard copy, please bring your own pen and you’ll be given one to sign.
